Gone, but not Forgotten

Thursday, January 8, 2009 Carleigh's grandmother "Nu Nu" passed away. She had been battling cancer for sometime now, and was put in a nursing home back in October. On Thursday, while her 3 children sat by her side, she passed. Special thanks to Kevin, my brother in law, for being a pall bearer!/span>

Is to come back to BLOGGING..I know its been awhile, ok a long time since I have been posting and I am going to start posting alot more. So much has gone on, especially with Little Grayson, in the time I have been away. But watch out, I am back...

4TH OF July

For the 4th one of my best friends, Kelli came in town to visit us from Tennessee. Friday night we took Al and Grayson to the hospital to visit Moo Moo and Aunt Dani. Carleigh was gone to Gulf Shores with her friend Emma to see the fireworks. After visiting Moo Moo we went to get fireworks and headed to a friends house. Here are a few pics to share. I still have more to post on the weekend we had, so stay tuned for more! We had a GREAT time with Kelli in town and hated to see her leave...We are planning a trip in August to go see her in Tennessee before school starts back.

Big Boy Bathtub!

Last week I started putting Grayson in the bigger bathtub and he just ABSOLUTELY loves it. He sits in it and just "relaxes" and hates me taking him out of it...Needless to say he LOVES bathtime every nite...

It has been 4 years since the loss of my dad and Father's Day is always the hardest day to get through for me. There is not a second in the day that goes by I am not thinking of him and I am so THANKFUL to have had such a remarkable father in my life. Even though he is gone he will NEVER be forgotton...

The All Star Cousin's WIN IT ALL...

Last Friday night we went to watch the GRASSHOPPER'S end their t-ball season as the CHAMPIONS. Myles and Connor both did an AWESOME job playing this year and we have really enjoyed watching just how cute they are at their age. They amaze me at how serious they are about this sport and play so well to be such a young age..It was great to see the GRASSHOPPERS in their last game for the season and watch them WIN IT ALL...Way to go Myles and Connor this year and AWESOME Job Uncle Kevin!!

Bath Time for Grayson

Grayson gets just so darn cuter everyday. Last week I was giving Grayson a bath, which he absolutely LOVES, and he was just chilling in the tub enjoying every bit of it and all of a sudden started peeing right as Chris was taking pictures of him. It's moments like those that make me so thankful to have such adorable kids in my life.

The Best Friend Anyone Could Ever Ask For

Yesterday was my best friend of 16 years, Kimmie's birthday, The BIG 32! We were 16 years old when we met where we both worked at Mc Donald's and have been Best Friends ever since. She is one person I can truly say is the best friend any girl could ask for. No matter how many miles were between us over the years we have always managed to run to each other when needed. I am so thankful everyday to have her in my life, Carleigh's life and now Grayson's life. We hope you had an AWESOME birthday Aunt Kimmie and didnt loose too much money at the casino's..

Memorial Day at the Beach

Memorial Day we packed up and headed down to Dauphin Island for the day to enjoy some GREAT weather and YUMMY food for the day. Grayson spent the day inside with lots of Aunts and Uncles and Gi Gi and Paw Paw and I forgot to take any pics of him that day. Chris took us all out for a boat ride then we headed to the beach to catch some rays..Once we got back we enjoyed Gi Gi's GREAT cooking and Paw Paw's AWESOME homemade ice cream...We all really enjoyed the day together. A BIG thanks to Gi Gi and Paw Paw for having all of us for the day..

Tinkerbell pays us a visit!!!

My best friend, Kelli aka Tinkerbell, and Shane, came down Memorial Day weekend to visit and see Grayson for the first time. We had such a BLAST while they were here and hated more than anything to see them leave to go back to Tennessee..It's those times together I wish I still had her here in Mobile with me. We miss her terribly. We were able to go to Dauphin Island on Memorial Day and go out on the boat and enjoy an AWESOME barb q together...Carleigh really enjoyed them and absolutely LOVES being around Kelli, as you can tell in the pics..Hopefully in August we will be traveling to Tennessee to see them again before School starts back...Thanks SO MUCH Tinkerbell for all you did for Carleigh, she LOVES everything...Also a BIG THANKS for giving us such a GREAT weekend with yall..Love ya and Miss ya...

I know I have not been posting on here lately, I have just been so busy with work and the little one. but I promise this weekend I will be updating it and will try my best to keep it up...Lots has happened in the past couple weeks, cant wait to share!

One Month Old...

Grayson is a month old today already...It seems like it was just yesterday he was born..He is truly a blessing to all of us and I could not for a sweeter baby :)
